Willow Springs is strictly non-smoking inside (we have highly sensitive smoke detectors fitted), The Garden however, does have 2 smokers areas-which must be observed.
Sorry, we do not allow dogs/cats etc at this property. (However, Assistance Dogs ONLY are welcome by prior arrangement but must be kept on a lead whilst outside of Willow Springs and damages caused by any animal whilst in the house will be billed to guests).
Caged pets MAY be permitted by prior arrangement only with a £50 cash (refundable) deposit if no damages are incurred per pet/per stay. Guests must request this at least 1 month before their stay.
Guests should also be aware that we keep a Labrador/crossbreed) Dog on the premises.
Acceptance of Children
Sorry, no children under the age of 10 may stay at this property whether as Guests or day visitors due to the very close proximity of the river. Children are the responsibility of parents or Guardians; Willow Springs reserves the right to refuse the entry or remove any guest or entire party or family causing noise, annoyance or offence to the patron or other guests, without refund.
Cancellation and Insurance
Cancellation: Guests must give 48 hours notice of cancellation or curtailment of a booking, in the case of no shows, or guests giving less than 48 hours notice the full cost of the booking is payable.
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance.
If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it, less a 20% administration fee.
Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover this cost.
Online Bookings: As above and please refer to the booking terms and conditions listed by the company with whom you made the booking. (On-line bookings cancelled or curtailed by adverse weather conditions - we will refund up to a maximum of £10.00 per person per night only).
Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Your accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing your rooms. Both rooms contain twin beds which double room guests may push together on arrival to make a king size bed (single bed linen). Single occupancy guests using both beds will be charged an additional £20.
Late arrival procedure
Please ensure you contact us no later than 9.30pm to let us know if you will be arriving late. Failure to notify us may result in the room being re-let or the full cost of the room being charged to your credit card.
Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 1000 on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We will provide you with an invoice, payable on departure for any additional services you may have used during your stay. We charge £10 for every half hour beyond 1000 hrs.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of £50.00 if you did not report this. Willow Springs reserves the right to refuse right of entry to Guests who are otherwise affected by alcohol or drugs and as already stated will offer no refund of room charge.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Use of the Internet
Internet use is dependent on availability and cannot be guaranteed. Guests automatically agree to our terms and conditions of use when logging on.
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our passworded computer(s), or locked away. We may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers, unless you request otherwise. We will not share your details with any third party.
Any property left behind after a guest stay must be claimed within a month after which time it will be donated to charity. Postage and packing will be charged for its return plus a £10.00 administrative charge.
Fishing and Boating
No fishing or boating is permitted at Willow Springs. There is an excellent Trout Fishery (river and lake) in the village.
